From the moment I got the email from Chad with Revisionist Events I knew that this wedding would be special. Ian and Evan were a true joy to work with in every sense of the word and the tasting couldn’t have been more fun. It was full of laughs and if I remember correctly, one too many jokes from me. I wouldn’t even say that I’m necessarily that funny, so it was very sweet of them to indulge me. I blame it on the fact that I was surrounded by four unfairly handsome men and lost my mind a bit. Either way, I wished I could have showed up with a bag of chilled Topo Chicos and we could have met for sweets every week.
They were married at the gorgeous Beckendorff Farms and assembled an amazing team of vendors that I feel so honored to be aligned with. Geoff Duncan hardly needs an introduction as his reputation as one of the best photographers in the country speaks for itself. My girl Holly with Flower Vibes who continuously outdoes herself left me with buckets of florals and greenery to elevate the dessert table in a way I had never done before. Last but not least, in true Revisionist fashion they stayed true to the couple’s vision of keeping everything sophisticated and timeless with no stone left unturned.
It was such a beautiful day and even though I played only the smallest part, I’m so thrilled that I helped to make it a little sweeter.
