I was lucky enough to have a couple approach me for their wedding cake after seeing my feature in Houston Brides magazine. Not only do I love the elegant simplicity of that cake but I was also so pleased that we decided on our signature champagne cake with a rosemary twist. Instead of our standard champagne cream and raspberry filling that has become such a favorite around here, I incorporated lots of fresh rosemary and then finished it off with a rich mascarpone buttercream. The rosemary and juicy fresh raspberries brightened every single bite of the cake and now it's definitely one of my favorite flavor pairings!
